become a vendor! (it's free!)
If you'd like to be a vendor, send us an e-mail one week in advance or call us at (870) 338-3300 to confirm your participation for the month and notify us whether or not you'd like to reserve a tent. We have only a limited number of tents which therefore are distributed on a first-come first-serve basis. Our only request is that you arrive on event day by 4:15pm to allow enough time for volunteers to help you set up, and leave no earlier than 8pm to allow visitors the full event experience.
BECOME A VOLUNTEER AMBASSADOR!
Are you a proud Helena resident, or part of a community organization or group? We're always looking for individuals, organizations, and businesses that want to support their community. Each Cherry Street Fair requires help from many volunteers during the event with artist set-up, visitor support, and surveying. This job comes with free food and an exclusive Cherry Street Fair volunteer t-shirt!

Designed to leverage regional cultural strengths, the Cherry Street Fair, as part of helena second saturdays, brings local artisans and merchants together to provide a dynamic and engaging calendar event in historic downtown Helena-West Helena.
Headed into its sixth year, The Helena Second Saturdays Cherry Street Fair brings local artists and merchants together to provide a monthly, dynamic event on Cherry Street in Helena-West Helena, Arkansas. On every second Saturday from April through September, Delta-inspired artists, musicians, and food vendors line the 400 block of Cherry Street, producing a vibrant atmosphere, generating increased downtown and community engagement. A family-centered event series made possible by many partners, the CSF allows visitors from the region to experience themed competitions, kids' activities, live gospel and blues music, and great food.
Our goals for the Cherry Street Fair are to:
- Rejuvenate community pride in Helena, Arkansas
- Encourage economic growth in downtown, historic Helena, Arkansas
- Foster new leadership among permanent and short- term (i.e., Teach For America Corps Members and alumni) community members
In response to these goals, we have:
- Provided a fun, safe and culturally rich entertainment experience for an average of 550 Phillips County families and tourists per event
- Transitioned five street fair vendors into the Helena Start-Up Program, expanding or launching three businesses
