LITTLE ROCK, ARK (August 6, 2012) – Arkansas Community Foundation recently announced a total of $60,000 in grants to five organizations serving the Arkansas Delta region. These grants were awarded from the Arkansas Delta Endowment for Building Community, established at the Foundation in 2009 to provide a source of funding for innovative, community-based projects that will improve social and economic conditions for children and families in 26 Delta counties in Arkansas.

We were funded for the implementation of the Design Measures Fellowship Program which will provide marketing and design support to entrepreneurs in the Arkansas Delta region.

We are thrilled that we have received this funding and will now begin the process of hiring two mission-driven graphic designers to be with us here in Helena for a one-year fellowship position.
